I graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in July 2015, with 1st class honours in Human Biology BSc. During my degree I completed my dissertation project ‘Dietary patterns and retinal vessel calibre’ with the Centre for Public Health, were I analysed for an association between a healthier diet and eye health. I commenced my PhD in October 2015, focusing on the effect of social networks and health behaviour change, in adolescents. I am currently working on a systematic review of social network measures, which will inform my intervention. This research is directed towards adolescents and their peer networks in school environment, and those who are working to encourage greater uptake of physical activity for adolescents.
